The woman lives in a village about 120 kilometers off the city of Shahrud, Semnan Province.

The 33-year old pregnant woman was experiencing labor pains when her family contacted the emergency phone number 115. The paramedics arrived immediately at her side and transferred her to the car in an attempt to take her to the hospital.

However, in the middle of the way, the driver had to pull over because the woman had more frequent and stronger contractions and was on the verge of giving birth.

The paramedics at once began the delivery procedure and helped the woman give birth to a baby son.

After the successful childbirth, the mother and her baby boy were taken to the hospital in that ambulance and based on the latest reports they are healthy and well.
