Six people who had hidden 166 packets of heroin in their stomachs have been arrested in Isfahan.
Police Colonel Hossein Rezaii made the announcement on Friday, adding that the 166 packets contained 2.5 kilograms of heroin.
Rezaii, who is the chief of the Isfahan Province Department for the Control of Illegal Drugs, also said that eleven members of the same drug-dealing gang were arrested for possession of 11.5 kilograms of heroin during the Iranian New Year holidays, which began on March 20, 2012.
