 TEHRAN – Esteghlal beat Zob Ahan Tuesday night in the 3rd week of the Iran Professional Football thanks to a late goal from Amin Manouchehri.
The Iranian giant grabbed the vital victory since the team had lost to Saipa last week and the fans were not satisfied with the way they played.
With just six minutes remaining, Amin Manouchehri headed the ball into back of the net.
Zob Ahan suffered its third defeat in a row.
Elsewhere, Damash humiliated Paykan 5-3, Sepasi defeated Sanat Naft 2-0,
Naft and Aluminum played out a goalless draw, Foolad beat Saipa 2-0, titleholder Sepahan was held to a 2-2 draw by Rah Ahan and Traktorsazi defeated Mes 2-1.
