.jpg) Sepasi midfielder Reza Haghighi joined Persepolis football team on Wednesday.
Persepolis signed the 23-year old player on an 18-month contract.
“I love Persepolis and Manchester United since I was a kid. I had also offers from Emirati and Qatari clubs but I preferred to play in Persepolis,” Haghighi said.
Haghighi started his career with Payam in 2006. He has been a member of Iran U-20 and U-23 teams. He has also made three appearances for Iran football team.
Persepolis is 10th in the standings table with 20 points. Esteghlal is at the top with 28 points.
