The competitions will be held in Perth, Australia, for both men and women from December 1 to December 9.

Iran is in Group C along with Greece, Romania, Trinidad and Tobago and Uzbekistan.

“We are ready for the competitions. Iran will participate in the event as the Asian champion and we take advantage of 11 players of the team,” Iran coach Davoud Reza Soltani said.

Iran is scheduled to play Trinidad and Tobago on December 1.

“We have no knowledge of Trinidad and Tobago. But the other teams are strong and we hope that to qualify for the next round as the third team,” he added.
