.jpg) TEHRAN – Carlos Queiroz will hand goalkeeper Rahman Ahmadi a first start at international level when the Iranian football team will play Lebanon in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualifier on Wednesday.
Previous No 1, Mehdi Rahmati, withdrew from the national team due to some problems in January and Saipa keeper Ahmadi has been given a chance to wear the jersey.
German-Iranian keeper Daniel Davari, who currently plays for Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2. Bundesliga, will be invited to the team for the upcoming matches.
Iran has been drawn against Lebanon, Thailand and Kuwait in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification.
