 TEHRAN - Iranian veteran coach Ali Abutaleb has died on Saturday at the age of 71 after battling lung disease for several years.
Abutaleb passed away in Tehran’s Artesh Hospital.
He was laid to rest at the Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery on Sunday. Abutaleb will be missed by all his colleagues and relatives.
Abutaleb headed the youth team as well as the Iranian football clubs.
The Tehran Times staff offers its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.
