| Iran wrestling team invited to New York: report |

.jpg) TEHRAN - The U.S. Wrestling Federation has invited the Iranian freestyle team to participate in the exhibition match in New York's Times Square, the Iranian media reported.
The U.S. Wrestling has said that a dual meet will be held in May.
In the 2013 Freestyle Wrestling World Cup held in Tehran last week, Iran beat the United States 6-1 at the sold-out Azadi Sports Complex.
Rich Bender, executive director of the U.S. Wrestling, verbally invited the Iranian team to come to New York.
On Tuesday, the federation has officially invited the Iranian team to participate in the event.
Last year, the U.S. wrestling team defeated Russia 4-3 in a dual meet in New York's Times Square.
