Iran rowing team is preparing for the 2013 World Rowing Championships, which will be held at Tangeum Lake, Chungju and the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, both in South Korea.

“Mohsen Shadi withdrew from the third round of the training without informing officials. He is out of the team until further notice,” Iran rowing coach Afshin Farzam was quoted by IRNA as saying.

Mohsen Shadi Naghadeh claimed gold medal in the Men's Lightweight Single Sculls rowing final in the 2010 Asian Games.

The 25-year-old has participated in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games.
