.jpg) Iran defeated the Philippines 3–1 (19–25, 25–20, 25–18, 25–15) at the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship on Saturday.
The Iranian outfit had lost to China in straight sets on opening day of the competition in Pool B.
Iran will face India on Sunday.
The 17th edition of the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship began on Friday in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and will run until September 21.
The competition will bring the top 16 teams in Asia together.
