|Mojtaba Taghavi appointed Zob Ahan coach||
ISFAHAN – Former Saipa coach Mohammad Taghavi took charge of Zob Ahan football team on Monday.
Taghavi replaced Luka Bonacic in the Isfahan-based team.
“Luka was suffering from kidney disease and was forced to return to Croatia for treatment,” Zob Ahan spokesman Kamran Shirzadi said.
“Luka said that he cannot continue his job and the management accepted his resignation,” he added.
The 58-year-old Croat had been appointed as coach of Zob Ahan in early July.
Zob Ahan is only two points above the relegation zone in the Iranian Professional League, having won only three of its 18 matches in the current season.
