|Firouz Karimi appointed Zob Ahan coach||
ISFAHAN – Firouz Karimi has been handed the head coaching role at the Zob Ahan football club on Friday.
Karimi becomes Zob Ahan’s third coach in the current season of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
The 58-year-old coach replaced Taghavi, who was appointed Zob Ahan coach in December.
Zob Ahan started the competitions with Luka Bonacic but two parties parted company by mutual agreement. He was forced to return to Croatia for the treatment of his kidney disease.
With just three weeks left, Zob Ahan is only four points above the relegation zone, having won only four of its 27 matches in the current season.
