Iran Greco-Roman wrestling team wins Hungarian Grand Prix

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_13-2(361).jpgIran Greco-Roman wrestling team won the title of the Golden Grand Prix in Szombathely, Hungary on Sunday.
The Iranian wrestlers claimed three gold medals, three silvers and two bronzes. 
In the 59kg category, the gold medal went to Hamid Soryan, who defeated his Turkish rival 8-0 in the final game. 
In the 80 kg, Habibollah Akhlaghi defeated his Iranian countryman Yusof Ghaderian in the final and claimed a gold medal. 
 Mohammad Karimi defeated a wrestler from Kazakhstan in the third-place match and won the bronze medal. 
On Saturday, Taleb Nematpour seized a gold medal by defeating Robert Kobliashvili of Georgia 2-0 in the final of the 85 kg category. 
 Omid Norouzi claimed the bronze medal by beating Tero Valimaki of Finland in 66kg category.
Saeid Abdevali won a silver medal after he lost to Mark Madsen of Denmark in the final match of the 75 kg category.
Bashir Babajanzadeh earned a silver medal in the 130kg category. The gold medal went to Riza Kayaalp from Turkey.
Babajanzadeh didn’t participate in the final match because of a rib injury.
A total 144 wrestlers from 22 federations competed in the two-day event in Szombathely, Hungary.
