Veteran Iranian football player Moheb dies

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_13-2(367).jpgTEHRAN - Ali Akbar Moheb, the last surviving member of Iran's first national football team, died at the age of 101 on Wednesday.
Ali Akbar Moheb, who founded Daraei football club, passed away in Tehran’s Taleghani Stadium. 
Born in 1913, he played a few games for Iran football team as well. 
Moheb was Iran Football Federation deputy in 1947. 
The Tehran Times staff also offers its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.
