Iran beaten by China in FIBA Asia Cup

Defending champion Iran was defeated 64-51 against China in Pool A at the Wuhan Gymnasium in Wuhan, China.
 
Shang GAO from China was the best scorer with 13 points and Iran’s Hamed Haddadi was the best with 15 points. 
 
Iran opened the campaign with a 66-56 win over Japan on Friday.
 
Mehmed Becirovic’s men will play Indonesia on Sunday. 
 
The 5th edition of the FIBA Asia Cup has started on July 11 in Wuhan, Hubei, China and will finish on July 19. 
 
The winner of this tournament will automatically qualify for the FIBA Asia Championship in 2015.
