Iran was defeated against Poland 83:70 and Sweden 75:58 and beat Portugal 69:55 in the three-day competitions.
The Iranian team finished in third place behind host Poland and Sweden teams. Portugal came fourth.
“I am happy with this tournament. After the FIFA World Cup 2014, we will have to participate in another big event in Asia,” Becirovic told pzkosz.pl.
“I would like to thank the Polish Basketball Association for inviting us to this event. We spent a great time here. I hope that we will invite the Polish national team for a similar tournament next year in Iran,” the Slovenian added.
Iran will prepare itself for the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain, which will take place from August 30 to September 14.
Iran has been drawn with World No 2 team Spain, 2013 Eurobasket winner France, Egypt, Serbia and Brazil in Group A of the competitions.
Becirovic’s team will also participate in the four-nation tournament in Slovenia along with Lithuania, Brazil and the host before heading to Spain.
