Iran’s Haddadi linked with Real Madrid move

TEHRAN -- Iran center Hamed Haddadi has been linked with a move to Real Madrid basketball team.

Real Madrid is supposed to sign Indiana Pacers forward Luis Scola, who has one year left on his current contract.  

Former Phoenix Suns Argentine player led his national team to a 85-81 victory over the Philippines on Tuesday and into the second placein Group B at the FIBA World Cup.

Scola was 7 of 12 shooting with 19 points andseven rebounds against Filipinos.

The Spanish giant club has a Plan B if the process fails.

Hamed Haddadi, who has averaged 16.3 points and 9.0 rebounds in the last three games in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, is on Real Madrid’s radar. 

Haddadi, 29, has already played for Memphis Grizzlies, Dakota Wizards (D-League) and Phoenix Suns.
