|Esteghlal signs Andranik Teymourian||
TEHRAN - Esteghlal signed Traktorsazi midfielder Andranik Teymourian for an undisclosed fee on one-year deal on Saturday.
“Esteghlal is a great club and I am happy to join the team. I had offers from the some Iranian teams but I chose Esteghlal,” the 28-player said.
Teymourian joined Bolton Wanderers in 2006 after a good performance along with Iran football team in the Germany World Cup. The international player then penned a two-year contract with Fulham in 2008.
Teymourian was forced to leave England in 2010 due to not having a work permit and joined Traktorsazi of Tabriz.
Sepahan keeper Mehdi Rahmati has already joined Esteghlal and Sepahan defender Jalal Hosseini has reached an agreement with the Tehran giant.
