 TEHRAN – The team of the ex-Iran footballers defeated Resaneh Varzesh (the selection of the Iranian reporters, journalists and photographers) on Sunday.The two teams observed one minute of silence in memory of Hassan Tehrani Moqaddam, the director of the Jihad Self-Sufficiency Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, who was martyred in a recent explosion at an ammunition depot. Iran Veterans defeated Resaneh Varzesh 4-3 in the match held in Tehran’s Al-Ghadir Stadium. Karim Bagheri (9th min), Afshin Peyrovani (30th min), Alireza Mansourian (38th min) and Ali Daei (58th min) scored for Veterans. Reza Torabian scored in the 12th minute and Adel Ferdowsipour had a brace for Resaneh Varzesh in the 36th and 70th minutes.
