Jorg Woithe named as Iran swimming coach

c_330_235_16777215_0___images_stories_edim_13-3(14).jpgTEHRAN – Germany's Jorg Woithe was appointed as coach for the Iran swimming team on Saturday. 
 
The 49-year-old German won the gold medal in the 100 meters freestyle at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Woithe also won the World Championships gold medal in 1982 in Guayaquil and a gold medal in the European Championships in Strasbourg in 1987. 
 
Jorg Woithe will be assisted by coaching staff Khashayar Hazrati, Farhad Khaefi and Abbas-Ali Keshtkar.
