.jpg) TEHRAN – Iran’s Mahram basketball team will participate in the Williams Jones Cup.
In the session held with the participation of Iran basketball coach Memi Becirovic and head of basketball federation Mahmoud Mashhoon, Mahram was selected as Iran’s representative in the William Jones Cup Basketball.
Iran has won three previous editions.
Mahram is gearing up for the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2012 which will be held in Beirut, Lebanon from October 13 to 21.
The R. William Jones Cup (also known as the Jones Cup) is an international basketball tournament held annually in Taipei, Taiwan. It was named after Renato William Jones, a basketball promoter and one of the founders of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
