Iraqi Embassies in Iran, UK, U.S., Tunisia to Resume Activity Sept. 1

TEHRAN - Iraqi embassies in the capitals of a number of countries including Iran, the UK, U.S. and Tunisia will resume their activities on September 1, it was reported by Iran's official news agency IRNA on Saturday.
The news by an Iraqi Foreign Ministry official was broadcast by the Voice of Iraq radio station on Friday.
The afore-stated embassies will initially restart their work by opening their consular sections, the news agency added. Other sections will open at a later time.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry official was further quoted as saying women have been appointed to diplomatic posts in those embassies.
