TEHRAN -- Managing Director of Syrian Arab News Agency Ghazi al-Deib arrived in Tehran Sunday night for bilateral talks. On hand to welcome al-Deib were Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Abdollah Nasseri Taheri and Syria`s Ambassador to Tehran Hamed Hassan.

During his one-week stay here, Al-Deib is expected to inspect IRNA and hold bilateral talks.

He is also to meet with Majlis Speaker Mehdi Karroubi and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ahmad Masjed Jamei as well as head of the center for Dialogue Among Civilizations.

Al-Deib who is here on the invitation of Nasseri will pay a visit to historic cities of Isfahan and Shiraz.
