TEHRAN Visiting German Middle East Expert here Tuesday regretted over the harm inflicted on Tehran-Bonn relations saying that Germany has never accused the government of Iran of terrorism. Director of the Middle East Department of the German Foreign Ministry, said that visit to Iran of this delegation itself indicates that Bonn wants to adopt its policies toward Iran free from influences, pressures and the enemies' accusations. He made the remarks in a meeting with Director General of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Department for Western European Affairs Ali Ahani where the two sides discussed the ways and means for normalizing Tehran-Bonn relations. The German official stressed that the two countries must adopt positions not under the influence of pressures and accusations of the enemies of the two countries but rather on the basis of their official stance. He also said he appreciated the determination of Iran for having good relations with Europe. Ahani deplored damage to traditional relations between the two countries as the result of hostile efforts of the enemies of the two countries and hoped that both sides would make an effort to wipe out the unwelcome impact of insinuations that have marred relations between the two countries.
