Players, Officials Visit Former Iran’s Football Manager

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- National players, coaches, and ranking officials of Iran's Football Federation Monday paid a visit to the ex-manager Mohammad Ranjbar who has confined to bed due to brain disease.
In the meeting, the federation Secretary General Ali-Akbar Erfanian-Daneshvar pointed to some part of Ranjbar's bright career, wishing recovery for the former technical manager of national football teams.
Iran's Croat head coach Branko Ivankovic, coach Hossein Faraki, and the technical manager also talked to the hospitalized Ranjbar.
Expressing his appreciation to the visitors, Ranjbar said all the football problems are now tangible for the federation and they will be removed by precise plans.
He added Iran's football will have undoubtedly bright future in Asia through the efforts of all the concerned.
Ranjbar expressed hope the national squad will win its next Asian qualifying matches.
