Iranian Animations at French Wissembourg Festival

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) –- Iranian animations and films produced at the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) are to be screened at the Special Section of Wissembourg Animation Film Festival, France.
The festival which intends to honor activities by the institute, will screen the animations “Sweet Narration” (Mohammadreza Abedi), “Man and Cloud” (Parviz Naderi), “Disturbers” (Vajihollah Fard-Moqaddam), and “Ax” (Ahmad Arbani) from Nov.20-21.
Meanwhile, other animations produced at the institute including “Union” (Nazanin Sobhan Darbandi), “Potter” (Ali Asgharzadeh), “Children in Museum” (Abdollah Alimorad), and “Superpowers” (Noureddin Zarrinkelk ) will be screened at the section.
Director Alimorad is also administering an animation workshop being held during the event.
A total of 300 feature-length and short films are expected to participate in the festival which will end on November 22.
