TEHRAN (IRNA) – Iran Air, or HOMA, the country’s flag carrier, announced Saturday it would give a 50 percent discount on flight tickets to Iranian students abroad who want to visit their homeland.
According to a statement issued by HOMA's Public Relations Office, Iranian students willing to visit Iran can use the discount only twice a year.
The ruling, approved by the High Council for Iranian Aviation, is to take effect from August 23, said the statement.
A student can avail of the discount by obtaining a letter from the Iranian Foreign Ministry or one of its embassies abroad and presenting it to any of HOMA offices in the country where a student resides, added the statement.
