Pars Oil & Gas Company has invited eligible Iranian & International contractors to participate in the tender for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of the Phases 6, 7 & 8 Gas Sweetening Project of South Pars Development in Assaluyeh.

South Pars Development Phases 6, 7 & 8 are designed to produce 3,900 MMscfd of reservoir fluid from three wellhead platforms, 1,300 MMscfd each, and to transport the fluids, after separation of free water, to the mainland Assaluyeh, where the onshore treatment facilities are installed at a distance of approximately 100 Km from offshore dedicated block. The onshore plant consists of reception facilities, gas/liquid separation, condensate stabilization, sour gas dehydration, NGL extraction, C3 and C4 LPG recovery & treatment and dry/sour gas recompression for transportation by pipeline to oil fields for injection purpose. Gas plant consists of six parallel trains each designed to handle 650 MMscfd of reservoir fluid equivalent.

POGC is now planning to install four trains of gas sweetening and sulfur recovery units in order to produce sweet gas instead of sour gas and satisfy country’s demand for domestic gas whenever it becomes vital.
