TEHRAN -- In his visit with Iran’s ambassador to Albania, the chairman of the chamber of commerce of Albania emphasized on the necessity of the expansion of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Objecting to the low level of the present trade and commercial relations between the two nations, the Albanian official commented that vast economic and trade potentials of Iran and Albania called for the measures aimed at facilitating cooperation between the merchants and businessmen of the two countries.

The Albanian official also expressed the readiness of the chamber of commerce of Albania to host a trade delegation from Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce in order to pave the grounds for the development of economic and trade relations between Tehran and Tirana.

For his part, the Iranian envoy to Tirana elaborated on Iran’s growing economy and expressed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s willingness to help boost bilateral relations. He also referred to the need for Iran and Albania to hold trade exhibitions in each other’s lands and exchange business delegations in the near future.
