TEHRAN -- Filmmaker Hassan Naqashi is making a documentary entitled “Eternal Mystery” about the workshops held by traditional singer Mohammadreza Shajarian.

“Eternal Mystery” is focusing on the singing process of this living legend of Iranian classical music.

“This is not a documentary of Shajarian’s life, but rather a record of the methods he uses in training along with his memories and experiences during the teaching process,” Naqashi added.

The first session of the latest workshop was held last Monday exclusively for women at Tehran’s House of Music, and the second session will be held for men on April 11 at the Aseman Art and Cultural Institute.

Additional sessions will be held after Shajarian’s return from his European concert tour.
