TEHRAN – Iran Monday released the list of taekwondo players for the world competitions in the Chinese capital Beijing from May 18-22.

Title hopeful Feizollah Nafjam was sidelined due to his injury, giving way to the first weight standby Alireza Shakuri. According to the federation, the following players will represent Iran in Beijing: First weight: Alireza Shakuri Second weight: Behzad Khodadad Third weight: Mohammadreza Mehdizadeh Fourth weight: Omid Gholamzadeh Fifth weight: Hadi Saii Sixth weight: Mehdi Bibak Seventh weight: Yussef Karami Eighth weight: Morteza Rostami
