Iran’s SP phases 9-10 to come on stream by March 20

TEHRAN – Iran’s South Pars (SP) phases 9-10 will go on stream by the end of current Iranian calendar year (to end on March 20, 2008), said the managing director of the National Iranian Oil Engineering & Construction Company (NIOEC) Tuesday.
The onshore and offshore phases of the project cost $2 billion, of which $700 million belongs to offshore operations, Ali Hamidi said, adding that phases 9-10 are being developed to produce 25 billion cubic feet of gas per day each.
The phases’ daily revenue will be $4 billion, Hamidi added.
