TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Provisional Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani said here in his second sermon that Supreme Leader's policies are fully in line with those of late Imam Khomeini. Addressing thousands of rousing Tehran worshipers at central campus of Tehran University, Ayatollah Emami-Khashani added, "Paying attention to the guidelines presented by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei at the commemoration ceremony marking the 18th demise anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini (RA) would insure any observer that the Supreme Leader is paving the path laid by the founder of the Islamic Republic." Referring to the prominent role played by the late Imam Ruhollah Mussavi Khomeini in revival of Mohamedan Islam in the world, Ayatollah Emami-Kashani reiterated, "Today, too, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is emphasizing on the need to abide by the authentic version of Islam, particularly the teaching of the glorious Quran and the Tradition of the Holy Prophet of Islam in a bid to strengthen the foundations of Islamic unity." "That is the path paved by entire great religious leaders and reformers, the cleric said"

This week's Friday preacher of Tehran considered the various plots by the global arrogant powers as "more complicated compared to the past" and referred to the accusations made in the West against Islam, and its present day "Umm-ul-Qura" (motherland) - Iran - praising the role played by the Supreme Leader in dismantling such vicious schemes.

Focusing on Iran's nuclear progress, the senior cleric vehemently condemned the West's incessant behind-the-scene machinations being hatched in a bid to weaken and block the path of Iran's scientific advancement, and the Islamic Republic's regional and international status.
