Four-month non-oil exports fetched Iran $4.4b

TEHRAN – Iran witnessed 9.92 million tons of non-oil exports valued at $4.47 billion in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), the Customs Administration reported here on Monday.
The figure shows 3.26 and 2.75 percent increases in terms of weight and value respectively when compared to those of the preceding year.Of the figure, $17 million was related to the carry-on-luggage exports and $101.5 million was exported via boarder markets.
Iran imported 14.55 million tons of products worth $14.49 billion, showing 4.71 and 11.86 percent growth in terms of weight and value respectively when compared to the figures of the previous year.
