“50th Anniversary of Iran’s Animation” held at EDFC

TEHRAN -- A program entitled “The 50th Anniversary of Iran’s Animation” was held on Monday at the Experimental and Documentary Film Center (EDFC) in honor of Iran’s first animator Esfandiar Ahmadiyeh.
The center also paid tribute to the late graphic designer Morteza Momayyez for his much-acclaimed work in the field of animation.The EDFC is focusing on developing the art of animation in a series of programs named “The Spring of Animation”.
“The 50th Anniversary of Iran’s Cinema” was cosponsored by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), the animation team of the universities of IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting), and Tehran’s TV channel
