TEHRAN -- The biopic “To Be or Not to Be” made by Dutch filmmaker Frank Scheffer features the life and artistic pursuits of Iranian conductor Nader Mashayekhi.

The documentary is to be screened at the 2008 Wien Modern music festival in Vienna, Nader Mashayekhi told Mehr News Agency.
Frank Scheffer, who is known for his documentaries on the world’s outstanding composers, paid a visit to Iran in April and participated in a program in Tehran, dedicated to him by Iran’s literary monthly Bokhara, entitled “An Evening with Frank Scheffer”.
During his stay in Iran, Scheffer carried out research for his biopic on Mashayekhi.
Mashayekhi is officially the conductor of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra but is currently working with IRIB Symphony Orchestra.
