Iran-Libya joint commission session held

The 12th session of the Iran-Libya Joint Economic Commission was held in Tripoli, a Housing and Urban Development Ministry official said.

The Iranian delegation to the joint commission was headed by Mohammad Saeidikia, the minister of housing and urban development, and consists of Davud Danesh-Ja'fari, the minister of economic affairs and finance, and representatives from the public and private sectors, Nader Ja'fari, head of the ministry's public relations department said.
Libya's delegation will be headed by the country's Minister of Planning Taher E. Jehaimi.
Cooperation in commercial shipping, maritime and trade preferences, avoidance of double taxation, customs duties and banking are among the issues to be discussed between the two delegations.
Implementation of the memorandum of understanding on tourism and the establishment of a joint investment fund are also the topics to be addressed by the two sides.
At the end of the session, the two countries are expected to sign memorandums of understanding on fishing and education.
