Mahshahr ammonia complex tentatively commissioned

Iran put ammonia producing plant of Mahshahr in Khuzestan province in the frame of a pilot plan, Aqaii managing director of National Petrochemicals Industry Development Company said here on Tuesday.
“Some 142 million euros plus 540 billion rials have been invested in the project,” he said adding that the plant has the annual production capacity of 680,000 tons of ammonia, Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) reported.The third phase of the project has progressed by 99 percent and will soon come on stream, he said.
The country is expected to earn over 1.4 million dollars per annum by exporting the plant’s products, he concluded.
