MANAMA – An Iranian team of journalists including Tehran Times senior editor Parviz Esmaeili have started a tour of Bahrain.

In their first day of the country the journalists met Bahraini foreign ministry officials and lawmakers from foreign policy and security committee and discussed ways to expand relations between the two neighboring countries.
The team is accompanied by Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini who proposed establishing parliamentary friendship group between Iran and Bahrain.
“Iran and Bahrain should immediately move to establish parliamentary friendship group,” Hosseini suggested
