Fajr Theater Festival poster retrospective opens on Feb. 5

TEHRAN -- A retrospective exhibit of posters designed for the Fajr International Theater Festival over the past 25 years is to be held on the sidelines of this years festival.

The works have been selected from among 744 works created by veteran artists such as Aidin Aghdashlu, Morteza Asadi, Ebrahim Haqiqi, Mohammadreza Sharifinia, Morteza Momayyez and Reza Kianian.
The exhibit will be held from February 5 to 11 at the Saba Art and Cultural Institute, which is located on Mozaffar St., Taleqani Ave, near Felestin Square.
------Bairami’s novels to be published in English
TEHRAN -- Author Mohammadreza Bairami’s novels “The Mount Screamed My Name” and “On the Edge of the Cliff” have been translated into English by Mohammadreza Qanunparvar and will soon be published in the United States.
The English translation of the two books will be published in a single volume entitles “Stories of Sabalan”. The novels describe the hardships of the people of Sabalan, which is in the Azarbaijan region.
The two novels were originally published in Tehran by Sureh Mehr Publications..
