TEHRAN – Members of the presiding board of the Majlis minority faction met with Ali Larijani on Monday to protest over the barring of reformist MPs from seeking membership in the Majlis national security and budget committees, an MP said on Tuesday.

Ali Akbar Oulia from Yazd constituency said after reformist lawmakers were barred from these two committees the faction’s presiding board decided to meet with Majlis speaker to discuss the matter.
Since Larijani insisted at the beginning of the current parliament that no MP should be judged based on his membership in the minority or majority faction the group wanted the speaker to react to this issue, Oulia told the Mehr News Agency
