Iran appoints new ambassador to Brazil

TEHRAN - Mohsen Shaterzadeh-Yazdi has been officially appointed as Iran’s new ambassador to Stockholm, the Foreign Ministry press department said on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki nominated Shaterzadeh-Yazdi for the post and President Mahmud Ahmadinejad endorsed his nomination.Shaterzadeh-Yazdi had previously served as deputy minister of industries and mines, secretary of Iran-Venezuela High Committee, deputy director of the Chamber of Commerce, and a professor at Iran University of Science and Technology
