E. Azarbaijan exports up 30%

TABRIZ, June 27 (MNA) – The East Azarbaijan Province in northwestern Iran exported $132 million worth of products in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 20) showing a 30 percent growth compared to the same period last year said a province’s customs official on Friday.
In terms of weight the province also witnessed a 9 percent rise, exporting 131,000 tons of goods, Rahman Sharifi added.Pistachios, raisins, fresh fruit, chemicals, industrial products, and glassware were among the province’s exported items, IRNA reported.
-------Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan and Pakistan’s Karachi ink MOU
ISLAMABAD – The officials of the chambers of commerce, industries, and mines of Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan and Pakistan’s Karachi provinces here on Thursday signed an MOU.
According to the deal, the sides are determined to enhance mutual cooperation in the fields of agriculture, petrochemicals, herbal medicine, and transportation, ISNA reported.
The two sides also emphasized on reinforcement of bilateral trade ties through the exchange of information and delegations as well granting facilities and holding specialized exhibitions in each others countries
