BEIT-UL-MOQADDAS (AFP) -– Israel's caretaker Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is questioned again for the 11th time since allegations of graft emerged in May, police said on Thursday.
""The questioning conducted on Friday at the official residence of the prime minister,"" said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld. The justice ministry announced last month that Attorney General Menachem Mazuz intends to press charges against Olmert over allegations he multiple-billed foreign trips.
Olmert has been questioned by police 10 times on several different alleged cases of corruption since claims emerged in May that he illegally received funds from a U.S. financier.
Olmert handed in his resignation on September 21 but plans to remain at the head of a caretaker Israeli government until after early general elections scheduled for February 10.
