Police: No casualties in bomb blast in Zahedan

TEHRAN (IRNA) – Deputy police chief in charge of social affairs in Sistan-Baluchestan province Colonel Salah Asgharpour said on Wednesday that a bomb blast near a mosque in Zahedan left no casualties.

Speaking to IRNA, he said a motorcyclist pelted a bomb at Alghadir mosque in Zahedan and immediately escaped the scene.
Fortunately the explosion did not left any major damage or casualties, he said.
Some windows of the mosque were shattered due to the explosion, he said adding that the police in the province have launched a manhunt to arrest the culprit.
