CARACAS (Prensa Latina) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has announced his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Venezuela next month to consolidate bilateral cooperation.

In a Friday night telephone interview from Tehran where he was visiting, Chavez told a local TV station that Ahmadinejad´s upcoming trip to Caracas is a sign of respect towards the recently-signed mutual cooperation agreements.
