Suspects behind skirmishes arrested: cabinet secretary

KERMAN, Iran - Cabinet secretary Majid Doust-Ali announced on Friday that a number of suspects behind violent riots that followed the presidential election results have been apprehended.

“In line with countering rioters a number of suspect persons have been detained in recent days,” Doust-Ali said in Kerman, southeast Iran.
He said these persons are under question and certain charges against them are being proven. He added the details will be released to the public at an appropriate time.
