TEHRAN -- The Iranian film “A Time to Love” by Ebrahim Foruzesh won two awards at the 39th Giffoni Experience Film Festival for Kids.

The film was awarded the Gryphon Award of the Elements +10 section of the festival as well as the Audience Award of the festival.
The film is about a handicapped boy who is the little darling of his middle-class family. But when his little brother is born, everyone forgets about him.
The festival’s website described the Elements +10 competitive section as a part “dedicated to jurors aged between 10 to 12, over the years has become a kind of amusing, necessary formative “gym” where children can work out and build up their critic and film reviewers’ muscles as well as an independent view on films.”
The festival was held from July 12 to 25 in Italy.
