Chelsea have revealed that they will contest Fifa's decision to impose a transfer ban on the club.

World football's governing body announced on Thursday that the Blues will be unable to purchase any new players in the next two transfer windows.
The sanction comes on the back of a complaint from French outfit Lens regarding Chelsea's signing of Gael Kakuta in 2007.
Fifa have decreed that the Premier League side contravened transfer regulations in their pursuit of the young midfielder and have decided they must be punished.
