* A total of 24 works by U.S.-based Iranian painter Nasser Ovissi has been put on display at the Ovissi Gallery in Tehran.
Some of his works on Iranian poet Omar Khayyam have recently been published in the book “Responding to Art”, a subject currently being studied in U.S. universities.The exhibit will continue until October 24 at the Ovissi Gallery located at No. 20 Azar Alley off Nateq-Nuri St., near Gol-Nabi St. and Pasdaran Ave.
* The Shirin Gallery is currently playing host to an exhibition of photos by Georgian photographer Natela Nikonova.
Entitled “Return to Iran”, the exhibition is being held in a collaborative effort with the embassy of the Republic of Georgia.
The showcase runs until October 21 at the gallery located at No. 145 North Salimi St., off Andarzgu Blvd. in the Farmanieh neighborhood..
